The Rustix is currently planning a production of Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, loosely in the style of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Benedick will be a Ryker-like character, Beatrice will be a Betazoid-esque empath, etc. We are in pre-production and exploring possible venues for this show.

The company presented Romeo and Juliet: The Last Battlefield, an adaptation of Shakespeare's play that was more-or-less inspired by a particular episode of Star Trek (The Original Series). The production was directed by Ggreg Snyder. Click here for info. Performances were July 2nd through September 24th, 2003. The production was documented for the Paramount Pictures film Trekkies 2.

The Rustix Theatre Co. produced The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare at The Next Stage in Hollywood from October 19th, 2002 - November 2nd, 2002. The show was directed by Charles C. Nickerson.
